Blue Sky Property Management and Maintenance was established in 2018 with the purpose of providing property owners a trusted partner in the real estate industry that would take care of their investments, serve their tenant’s needs, and provide meaningful returns on their assets.
Meet The Team
Mike Barnes
Director of Maintenance
Mike, a U.S. Air Force veteran, joined Blue Sky in 2019 and oversees a team of skilled technicians to ensure homes are well maintained. Mike has a Masters degree including bachelors work in business management. He began remodeling houses in 1989 and excels at customer relations. Mike is diligent in thwarting off costly maintenance issues by protecting home-owner’s assets.
Lisa Brown
Accounting Assistant
In the Blue Sky team, Lisa specializes in accounts payable and owner statements. She joined Complete Property Care in 2020, initially handling maintenance billing. When Blue Sky acquired CPC, she came on as a property manager. Her journey in property management started earlier when her father acquired several properties in 2012, which Lisa managed until 2015. Outside of work, Lisa is a devoted mother to two children and shares her home with three chow dogs. Her son's sports activities keep her busy, frequently attending football and basketball practices and games. And when it comes to food, you can often find Lisa savoring Puerta!
Lydia Greene
Marketing Manager
Lydia is a recent Ball State graduate and has been with Blue Sky since the start of 2023. Her passion is social media with the hope to continue to expand our audience. Lydia is a Muncie native and started her marketing career as a small business owner. Lydia also loves spending time with friends and having fun!
Lexi Bailey
Property Manager
Lexi began her property management career in 2017. Over the past 6 years she has filled different rolls including property manager, leasing, accounts payable, real estate broker and even running her own small property management business. She has experience managing single family homes, multi family homes, apartment complexes, and commercial units. She is responsible for owner communication, tenant communication, leasing, and delinquency. She is a Muncie native who spends her free time traveling and enjoying time with friends.
Carly Smith
Senior Property Manager
Carly has been in Property Management and leasing for an overall of 5 Years. She has managed several properties from single-family to apartment complexes over the years in the Muncie and surrounding areas. Carly is responsible for overseeing properties, tenant communications, delinquency and owner communications. In her spare time, Carly loves spending time with her two sons, her family and friends.
Jenny Annen
Accounting Assistant
Jenny has been with Blue Sky since 2019. She loves working with people and providing a positive atmosphere. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our office, supporting our Blue Sky team, billing for maintenance, and helping tenants resolve any questions they may have.
Kayla Payne
Property Manager
Kayla has been dedicated to the world of property management since 2018. Over the years, she has worn various hats in this industry, starting as a customer service manager and then as a property manager assistant. Today, she proudly serves as a Property Manager, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. Her skills span across the spectrum of property management, including college housing turnovers and meticulous property inspections.
In her current role as a Property Manager, she specializes in fostering effective communication between tenants and property owners, ensuring a smooth housing experience for both parties.
For fun, Kayla is an avid camper and kayaker, finds solace in working on her cars, and has a strong love for live music, often attending concerts whenever she gets the chance.
Kayla's goal is to make your property management experience exceptional.
Heather Manship
Property Manager
Heather has been a dedicated property manager for Blue Sky since their acquisition of Complete Property Care in July 2023. With a career spanning back to Complete Property Care's inception in 2005, she has filled various roles, from managing accounts to coordinating maintenance and administration. In July of 2022, she attained her Broker's license, allowing her to assist property owners in sales and purchases. A native of Muncie and a Ball State alum, she enjoys family time and exploring the local music and events scene when not at work.
